When a supplier is evaluated (quality, delivery, price, service, safety and health, environment, compliance, prevention of counterfeit, fraud and suspect parts (CFSI), 0 to 10 for each item), the total score, the status and the next re-evaluation date are set. Performance is calculated automatically from the incoming inspection pass rate, nonconforming products and complaints in Operational Data Management, using the supplier name of the incoming lot. A warning only is given for incoming inspections of suppliers outside the approved list or overdue for re-evaluation, and failed or conditional evaluations are linked to a corrective action (SCAR) in the Nonconformity and Corrective Action Register. Re-evaluation dates appear in the Operations Calendar.
