The equipment maintenance register runs on the Company Workspace. Keep the original equipment history cards and inspection sheets in a folder on your own computer; the register holds only the equipment and work records (names and contents are encrypted with a different key for each company, while numbers, dates, statuses and scores are left as they are so that they can be tallied).
Equipment maintenance register: IATF 16949 8.5.1.5 (total productive maintenance) and ISO 9001 7.1.3 (infrastructure) as operational data
When you record preventive maintenance, the next preventive maintenance date is counted again from the interval. For a breakdown, you record the downtime and cause, and a breakdown of equipment with "High" criticality is linked to a corrective action in the Nonconformity and Corrective Action Register. The server calculates the planned maintenance compliance rate, MTBF, MTTR and downtime and uses them as the "Equipment maintenance" indicator source for Objectives and Performance Monitoring. The next preventive maintenance date appears in the Operations Calendar.
- ① EquipmentEnter the number, category, criticality, location, responsible position and preventive maintenance interval.
- ② Work recordsEnter preventive maintenance, breakdowns, repairs and improvements with work date, downtime, cause and action.
- ③ IndicatorsUse the planned maintenance compliance rate, MTBF and MTTR as objective indicators.
- ④ Corrective actionBreakdowns of critical equipment are linked to corrective actions.
Principles to follow: Your company decides the intervals and daily operating hours (they are not numbers set by the standard). Records linked to a corrective action are not deleted. Positions are written instead of personal names. Clauses that could not be confirmed against the original text are marked "To be confirmed". Data is not used for AI training.
